Coach Tay – Duchess Head Coach/Founder of My G.I.R.L.S.
Hello! I’m Octavia Robinson and a native of Baltimore, MD. I am a full time mother of two wonderful boys, therefore girls have an even special place in my heart.
Growing up and attending an all girl high school I was always involved in extra curriculum activities while balancing my studies. I have been a co-captain of the Pep Squad, on the track team, volleyball team, a member of badminton club, and Class Treasurer. In college I was a member of the band as a flag girl, and a model in the college’s fashion club. I have found a new love in cheerleading and have been coaching for almost three years now.
Professionally I have accomplished my goals of having obtained a Master’s Degree of Accountancy and using that to secure my career as a Controller for the State of Maryland. Now I am on my way of fulfilling my personal dream of making a difference in the lives of youth. I am honored to be the founder of My G.I.R.L.S. with the assistance of vision and commitment from everyone of my volunteer staff. I am ecstatic about this rewarding experience – teaching girls principles that will shape their future, but at the same time learning so many things from them.

Mrs. Rena – Executive Officer
My name is Donna R. Robinson I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I’m the mother of two children and the proud Grandmother of five grand children. I retired from Citigroup after 20 years of work service. My plan in life is to start up a business or to be a part of a business that would allow me to help others. Making a different in people lives is important to me. I believe to make a difference you must first start at the root of the problem. And I found that root to be with our young children. As a young girl I would notice the faces of other children that did not receive the help, guidance, love and encouragement to be successful in life. Within their eyes you could see them saying if someone would just help me or show me how to do better I will become better. My promise to myself was to always help change the younger children first and watch it trickle down for generation to come. It’s my pleasure to be a part of the “My Girls” family. What a wonderful gift to give to our youth.
